Promajna is a small town in Split-Dalmatia County, located between Baška Voda and Makarska. Promajna was built in the 17th century as a village of fishermen and farmers which was settled by residents of nearby Bast and Podgora. Since the middle of last century, it grew into a tourist resort with modern houses, villas, and apartments. Promajna has several restaurants, pizzerias, and cafes, which often work only during summer tourist season when is organized occasional entertainment events like fishermen's nights.
