Laganini.com enables direct communication between guests and hosts via the contact form (email), phone, social media, or link to their own website. Guests negotiate price and booking conditions directly with the hosts of accommodation (no fees). Therefore, Laganini.com is not a travel agency and doesn't charge provision or fees on reservations. By booking private accommodation in Croatia via Laganini.com you can save up to 50% on agency fees.

How do I find ideal accommodation in Croatia?

There are several ways to find your ideal accommodation in Croatia. From the home page, you can search for private accommodation in Croatia using the search form or quick search.

You can also search accommodation by region, by riviera, and by accommodation type (depending on whether you are looking for an apartment, room, holiday home, Robinson tourism, Agrotourism, camp, or hostel).

How to book an accommodation?

When you find the accommodation you like, send an inquiry directly to the host (owner of the accommodation) via the contact form or via contact details (phone number, social networks or website) presented on each ad.

All terms and conditions of booking are negotiated directly with hosts. To secure your reservation, most hosts will ask you to pay a certain amount in advance as a deposit, and the rest of the amount upon arrival to accommodation.

We advise you to check the accuracy and correctness of data (pricelist of accommodation) and terms of reservation and cancellation of reservation directly with hosts, especially prior to paying a deposit.

Security when booking accommodation?

After an ad is entered by the host (owner of the accommodation), we perform a basic verification (email, phone number) of the accuracy of the entered data including accommodation photos.

Hosts of accommodation publish their ads independently and take full responsibility for presented information including description and photos. By accepting our terms of service, hosts agree to guarantee accuracy, completeness, truthfulness, quality, security, and legality of products and services offered through our platform.

We recommend you to contact directly owners of accommodation or check their website for further confirmation if possible. Before paying a booking deposit, we recommend you to request an invoice, which is the obligation of every host of private accommodation in Croatia.

Terms of cancelation of reservation?

For terms of cancelation of the reservation, please see the description on each ad or contact directly owners of accommodation. We advise you to ask your host for terms of cancelation of the reservation before you make a reservation.

Laganini.com is digital platform for advertising private accommodation in Croatia not a tourist agency ( we don't charge any fees). All terms of reservation and cancelation of the reservation are negotiated directly with hosts (owners of accommodation).

How can I unsubscribe from the Newsletter?

We send news, offers, and useful information via Newsletter to all of those who subscribed. At the bottom of every Newsletter we send, you will find a link: unsubscribe. By clicking on that link you will unsuscribe and no longer receive any notifications.

Is advertising on Laganini.com free of charge?

Laganini.com is developed as a freemium web platform, where basic usage is free for both guests looking for accommodation and for hosts advertising their accommodation.

While the basic account for accommodation owners is free of charge, other services with higher levels of added value are charged. Our portfolio of paid services includes upgraded accounts (PLUS and PRO), featured positions (city, region, category, and home page), building of attractive and specialized websites, consulting services, and other services.

If you are the owner of private accommodation in Croatia, and you prefer direct contact with your guests and you want to improve visibility on the internet and occupancy of your accommodation, we recommend you to register on Laganini.com and advertise completely free of charge. You can always upgrade your account to paid services if you wish to receive more inquiries from the guests.

How are ads ranked?

Paid ads (featured ads) are singled out and are occupying first positions on the accommodation list. Free ads (basic ads) are listed after paid ads. When ranking free ads, Top ads (selected by admin because of quality) are at the top of the list, followed by the rest of the free ads.

All ads are shuffled before showing on the list of accommodation, so each paid or free ad have equal opportunities for guests to see them and send inquiry.

How to improve ranking of ad?

First option is to choose one of the featured positions (paid advertisements). You can upgrade your account (PLUS or PRO account) anytime via the user interface of Laganini portal.

Second option is to fill in all required information on your ad. Quality ads that contain all information and quality photos are becoming Top ads. Top ads are showing before basic ads on the accommodation list and have a higher chance of direct inquiry and direct reservation. Top ads are regularly checked and approved by admin, so keep this in mind:

enter the maximum number of high-quality photos (with high resolution) of accommodation object, each accommodation unit, surroundings, nearby tourist attractions (beaches)...
update contact details and the possibility for guests to contact you via Viber or WhatsApp
connect your ad with social media profiles (enter links to your Facebook, Instagram, Youtube profiles)
enter a relevant, unique and extensive description of your accommodation and all additional services you offer to the guests
enter accommodation features (equipment of accommodation), distances, and payment and booking conditions
enter detail pricelist for each accommodation unit (also First and Last minute offers)
frequently update your availability calendar or synchronize it with availability calendar on other web portals (Booking, AirBnb...)
enter profile picture and all personal details
ask your guests to leave as many positive comments and reviews

Top ads (quality ads approved by admin) have a better ranking compared to basic ads. Top ad is complete ad and have all relevant information for visitors and potential guests. To improve your visibility and ranking on accommodation list and to become Top ad, your ad needs the following:

a high number of high-quality photos (with high resolution) of accommodation object, accommodation units and surroundings
profile picture and all personal details
unique and extensive description of your accommodation
all details on accommodation features, distances, and payment and booking conditions
detail price list for each accommodation unit
link to own website and/or social media profiles (if you have them)
updated or synchronized availability calendar
First and Last minute offers
unique reviews and comments from guests

How long does ad last on Laganini.com?

Basic ad last indefinitely or until the owner of accommodation does not remove it. It can also be removed by admin if we have complaints from guests or we see the ad is inactive (the owner didn't sign in a user interface in the last 1 year).

Featured ads and paid services (PLUS and PRO ad) lasts 1 year (365 days). Before the expiration owner will get a notification to extend service. If service is paid it will be extended for the period of another 1 year (365 days). If service is not paid it will automatically become a basic ad (free ad).
