Villa Ivka was built in 1914. by Mate Petar Dorčić, a merchant from Baška and it was named after his wife, Ivka Dorčić. Back then it was one of the few houses in the 'new' part of Baška. Besides the large family Dorčić which lived in the house, during the summer the rooms were rented to tourists. Worth noting are the Czech poets Jiri Wolker and Konstantin Biebl who stayed in the house. Part of villa has been owned by family Hrabrić since 2010. We have added another floor and the house now has 3 apartments which are rented to tourists. During the renovation, we have made sure to retain and renew the architecture of this Secession building. Inside of the apartment old stone walls and wooden beams are retained and are decorated in a warm, traditional style with modern details. Located only 150 meters away from the notorious Baška beach and the city center, they will undoubtedly offer an unforgettable family vacation. Villa Ivka provides a warm family atmosphere. There is a parking for your car and we offer laundry service and dry cleaning as well. Apartments are suitable for accomodating 2-5 people, they are fully futnished and equiped with TV/SA, AC units with heating and cooling and WI-FI Besides enjoying on the beautiful beach full of content for both children and adults, Baška offers sports events, a football field, basketball court, mini golf, canoes and SUP rental and much more. The restaurants offer various traditional and international cuisines. Villa Ivka apartments are also a perfect choice for your holiday if you like to swim in the extremely clean sea or relax and sunbathe on the intact beaches nearby, where you can get by well marked walking trails or taxi boats. Cultural and entertainment program which begins in the early spring is very rich and offers many sports events for the more active guests.
