Pisak is a small fishing and tourist town in the Split-Dalmatia county in Croatia. It is located in the easternmost part of Omiš riviera, about 16 kilometers southeast of Omiš. It is also one of the oldest places of Omiš riviera, which dates from the early 16th century. During its long history, Pisak was primarily a place of fishermen and farmers who grew olives and grapes. The development of tourism in the late sixties, the locals were slowly turning to tourism and offering of accommodation services in their private houses. The old part of Pisak and the parish church is located close to the sea in a well-protected harbor, which was built in the 19th century.
