Unešić is a small settlement and center of the municipality in Šibenik-Knin County. It is located in Dalmatian Zagora (inland Dalmatia) 30 kilometers east of Šibenik and 15 kilometers from the Krka National Park. The entire municipality comprises of 16 settlements with a total of 1,600 inhabitants. The inhabitants are traditionally engaged in agriculture and cattle-breeding, but recently in tourism. Because of its position and small population, nature has remained very preserved, as well as the tradition and culture of this region.
