Zlarin is a small island of the Šibenik archipelago, which is located 2 km from the entrance to the Sv. Ante canal, at the entrance to the town of Šibenik. Administratively it belongs to the city of Šibenik. This is one of the few islands in the Adriatic that does not allow car traffic and certainly it offers a special charm. Regular ferry service to the island Zlarin drives from the Šibenik port and the ride is short and pleasant and you can enjoy in the view of the magnificent fortress of St. Nicholas. Zlarin is known for processing and hunting of red coral that is present on the island since the 15th century. The skill of processing corals in the traditional manner is cherished to this day, and here you can buy original products from corals in several souvenir shops.
