Zlarin is a small island of the Šibenik archipelago, which is located 2 km from the entrance to the Sv. Ante canal, at the entrance to the town of Šibenik. Administratively it belongs to the city of Šibenik. This is one of the few islands in the Adriatic that does not allow car traffic and certainly, it offers a special charm. Regular ferry service to the island Zlarin drives from the Šibenik port and the ride is short and pleasant and you can enjoy in the view of the magnificent fortress of St. Nicholas. Zlarin is also the only settlement of the island and is a typical example of a small Dalmatian town with narrow and old stone houses, narrow streets and distinctive bell tower of the church.
