Podstrana is a small tourist resort located on the picturesque south-eastern part of Split-Dalmatia County, 8 km from Split. The coastal part of Podstrana stretches 6 km along the 533 m high hill Perun following the 6-km long indented coastline with a number of beautiful gravel bays and beaches. On the slopes of the picturesque hills are ancient olive groves, stone walls, vineyards, and peach orchards, surrounded by greenery and wild underbrush and Mediterranean plants.
