Split is the second-largest city in Croatia with 170 000 inhabitants and is the largest city, cultural, economic and tourist center of Dalmatia. It is located on the east coast of the Adriatic Sea between Kaštela bay and Split channel. Split is one of the oldest cities in Croatia.
