Arbanija is a picturesque small town in the Split-Dalmatia county in Croatia. It is located on the north side of the island Čiovo, between settlements Mastrinka and Slatina, only 4 kilometers away from the historic town of Trogir. Arbanija has about 400 inhabitants and it administratively belongs to the town of Trogir. The settlement was established in the 15th century during the construction of the Dominican monastery of the Holy Cross. It still dominates the panorama of the place and it is its main attraction. The place is gradually developed around the monastery, and in recent years it is intensively developing tourism thanks to beautiful long pebble beaches, fragrant pine forest that surrounds the whole place and the small picturesque bays. Arbanija is an ideal place for a quiet family holiday, without crowds and noise. There is one restaurant, several cafes, and shops and a host of modern private houses and apartments for holidays.
