Arbanija has about 400 inhabitants and it administratively belongs to the town of Trogir. The settlement was established in the 15th century during the construction of the Dominican monastery of the Holy Cross. It still dominates the panorama of the place and it is its main attraction. The place is gradually developed around the monastery, and in recent years it is intensively developing tourism thanks to beautiful long pebble beaches, fragrant pine forest that surrounds the whole place and the small picturesque bays.
