Ližnjan is a small fishing and agricultural village and municipality in the county of Istria in Croatia. In the 14th century, Ližnjan became part of the estate Pula diocese, and until the 18th century, this area was managed by the Venetians. In the 19th century, Ližnjan began with its development, parallel to the industrial development of the nearby town of Pula.
