Klek is a small coastal town located in the beautiful bay along the main road between Split and Dubrovnik. It is located near the Croatian border with Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the municipality Slivno, in the Dubrovnik-Neretva County. It used to be an integral part of the famous Dubrovnik Republic, and today it has about two hundred inhabitants engaged in agriculture, fishing and tourism. Accommodation is offered exclusively in apartments and rooms in private houses. Surrounded by ancient olive trees, pine trees, oleanders, and other Mediterranean plants Klek is the ideal destination for a quiet, pleasant and romantic stay for couples and families.
