Vrsi is a small tourist town and the center of the eponymous municipality in the county of Zadar in Croatia. It is located in the far northwestern part of northern Dalmatia, in the midst of one of the peninsulae which ends the continental part of Dalmatia towards the island of Pag. Vrsi is located about 5 km northeast of the town of Nin and about 20 kilometers from the historic city of Zadar. In Vrsi lives about 1,700 permanent residents. The place itself is located about 2 kilometers from the coast. With the development of tourism in the sixties, residents of Vrsi were starting to go down to the coast to build their houses. Two new settlements Mulo and Žukve were built and they are located right next to each other. Today, Mulo and Žukve are oases of beautiful houses, whose hosts are mainly oriented towards tourism and the services of private accommodation. Modern, beautiful and comfortable apartments and rooms are awaiting guests from around the world.
