Apartment and holiday apartments Matteo Omišalj is located on the island of Krk, next to the island of Cres, the largest Adriatic island. The island of Krk is located in the northern part of the Adriatic Sea, which is why it is easy to reach, be it by car, plane, boat or bus. BY CAR If you are coming by car from the direction of Zagreb, take the A1 motorway in the direction of Rijeka, then change to the A7 to the Krk bridge, which connects the island to the mainland. From the bridge it is only 3 kilometers to AP-MATTEO in Omišalj. If you are coming from Ljubljana, drive to the Jelšane-Rupa border crossing and follow the signs to the Krk Bridge. After only 3 kilometers you are in Omisal and AP-MATTEO. The trip over the mainland bridge to the island of Krk has been free of charge for both locals and tourists since June 15, 2020. All traffic information is available on the website of the Croatian Automobile Club.
