Pag - Kustići Kustići is a small tourist resort on the island of Pag. Beside Vidalići, Zubovići and Metajna belong to a group of villages that the inhabitants of Pag call Barbati. Administratively it belongs to the town of Novalja from which is only 8 kilometers away. The Kustići village was founded in the 18th century by the migration of several families from Pag, primarily because of the hunting of the tuna that used to pass here. The name was given by the surname of one of the families that moved here. Today, more than a hundred permanent residents live here, who, besides agriculture and fishing, mainly deal with tourism and offer accommodation in numerous apartments and rooms as part of private family accommodation in Croatia. The place is very neat, clean and peaceful, making it an ideal destination for those who like to spend their holidays in a small and peaceful environment. This part of the island of Pag is sheltered from frequent bora (wind) strikes, the beaches are pebble and the sea is very clean which is ideal for families with small children. In the village, there is a restaurant, cafe, and bakery, and in Novalja 8 km away there are supermarkets, ambulance, pharmacy, post office, and all other facilities.
