The place has just over 250 permanent residents and administratively belongs to the town of Novalja, which is only a few kilometers away — be sure to also visit Novalja, the lively hub of the island. As it is located in a deep bay, it is protected from north and south winds and has a very pleasant microclimate that prolongs the bathing season from early May to late October.
