Matea apartments are located in a quiet location not far from the center of the old town of Poreč and nearby beaches about a 15-20 minute walk. The house has a total of three apartments + owner's apartment and is surrounded by a private garden, so each apartment has its own private car parking. In addition to each apartment has its own balcony or terrace, guests have the opportunity to stay in the garden with a barbecue and use of garden furniture and chairs for sunbathing. The apartments are modernly equipped to provide the most comfortable stay for guests. Poreč is a tourist center known for its beautiful natural setting, long tourist tradition, and numerous and well-equipped tourist resorts. Poreč is a cultural monument. Euphrasian Basilica. In 553, the Cathedral of the Assumption of Mary was built, known to the bishop and its builder as the Euphrasian Basilica or, more simply, the Euphrasian. In 1997, the complex was listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
