Sutivan is a small town and municipality located on the northwest coast of the island Brač, 7 km away from Supetar, in Split-Dalmatia county, in Croatia. According to the census Sutivan has 822 inhabitants and is one of the smallest municipalities in Croatia. Sutivan is named after a Saint John the Baptist. The population is traditionally engaged in fishing and agriculture, primarily the production of quality wines and olive oil. They still maintain this tradition, however, Sutivan is slowly turning to tourism and today is a tourist destination adequate for family, sports and recreational tourism.
