Okrug is a small town and municipality located in the western part of the island of Čiovo in Croatia. It is connected by road through the old town of Trogir with the mainland. It is divided into Okrug Gornji and Okrug Donji, two traditional Dalmatian villages just a few kilometres apart. It has a mild Mediterranean climate with over 2,600 hours of sunshine a year, rich subtropical and Mediterranean vegetation that guarantees a pleasant and relaxing stay throughout the year. The entire length of the coast features pebble beaches, the most famous of which is Copacabana, providing ideal conditions for families with children.
