Lokva Rogoznica is a small tourist town in the Split-Dalmatia county in Croatia. It is located 8 kilometers southeast of the town of Omiš and it is part of the famous Omiš riviera. The place is located on the slopes of a steep Omis Dinara Mountain, from where is a beautiful panoramic view of the blue Adriatic sea and the island of Brač. Originally, the place was located a few hundred meters from the sea, where the inhabitants were mainly engaged in agriculture, viticulture and cattle breeding. With the building of the Adriatic highway in 1966, a good part of the population thanks to the development of tourism started to build houses and apartments along the coast.
Lokva Rogoznica is full of pebbles and partly sandy beaches which are partly covered by pine trees where you can enjoy the shade on hot summer days.
