Stanići is a small tourist town in the Split-Dalmatia county in Croatia. It is situated just 5 kilometers southeast of the town of Omiš along the coast on the steep slopes of Omiš Dinara. It is part of the famous Omis riviera, which stretches from the town of Omiš, up to Brela or Makarska riviera. Steep slopes offer beautiful views of the many small, pebble beaches and coves, crystal clear sea and the beautiful view on the island of Brač. Above the newer part of the village, is the old village Stanići around 300 meters away from the sea, where are still well preserved old stone houses. Here the villagers were mainly engaged in fishing and agriculture, but after building the main Adriatic road in 1962, slowly started to develop tourism by building modern houses and apartments along the coast.
