Vis - Komiža Komiža is a typical small fishing town situated on the west coast of the island of Vis at the foot of nearly 600-meter high mountain Hum. It is situated in a bay that protects it from the northern winds and coastline has many beautiful pebbles beaches (Kamenica, Gusarica, Nova Pošta, Velo Žalo). Komiža offers excellent opportunities for guests and visitors: quality accommodation in a hotel or private accommodation in apartments, and a number of cultural and historical attractions such as churches, monasteries, and fortresses. From the town of Vis is only 10 km away, which is only ferry link with the mainland and the city of Split.
