Komiža is a typical small fishing town situated on the west coast of the island of Vis at the foot of nearly 600-meter high mountain Hum. It is situated in a bay that protects it from the northern winds and coastline has many beautiful pebbles beaches (Kamenica, Gusarica, Nova Pošta, Velo Žalo).
