Petrčane is a small tourist town in the county of Zadar in Croatia. It is situated about 10 km north of Zadar, surrounded by long sandy beaches and thick pine forest after which it is very recognizable. It is surrounded by two peninsulas - Punta Radman and Punta Skala and it has about 600 permanent residents. Residents of Petrčane have traditionally been farmers and fishermen, but today tourism and tourist services are the main sources of income. You can taste delicious Dalmatian cuisine, local specialties, and wines in the taverns and restaurants.
