Zverinac is a small island in Zadar archipelago in the Croatian part of the Adriatic. It is situated along the north coast of the island Dugi Otok, opposite the place Božava. The only settlement on the island is also named Zverinac and it has about 50 permanent residents. Administratively it belongs to the municipality of Sali and Dugi Otok. Zverinac was first mentioned in the 15th century under the name Surian who was in possession of a noble family from Zadar. It is well connected to the city of Zadar and in the village, there is a shop and restaurant.
