Cilipi the second largest place after Cavtat, in the Konavle, in the Dubrovnik-Neretva County, where according to the last census of 2011 live 933 inhabitants. It is located along the southwestern border of Konavle field, 22 km away from Dubrovnik and only 5 km from Cavtat. In the immediate vicinity of Cilipi is situated Dubrovnik International Airport, which is in the last few decades contributed extraordinarily to the touristic development of Konavle and all Dubrovnik region. The central part of the town is the largest church in Konavle, the parish church of St. Nicholas. The main square is widely known for its weekly meetings and famous folk folklore that runs events every Sunday from Easter to the end of October.
