Brod Moravice is a small village and center of the municipality in the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County. It is located in the western part of Gorski Kotar, at 560 m above sea level. It is located on the old road from Zagreb to Rijeka. Brod Moravice is the oldest municipality in Gorski Kotar, where only 1,000 inhabitants live, making it the least inhabited in entire Gorski Kotar. There are 38 smaller settlements in the municipality. Nearby, the city of Rijeka offers excellent transport connections and serves as a great base for exploring the wider Kvarner region.
