Kraljevica is a small town and municipality in the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County in Croatia. It is situated in a small bay at the entrance to the Bakar bay, about twenty kilometers south of the city of Rijeka. The first written documents about Kraljevica are from the 15th century when the noble family Zrinski built the old city - Kaštel and the church of St. Nicholas in today's center. In the mid-18th century, here was built a military port and shipyard by the decision of the Austrian Emperor Charles VI.
