Premantura is a small town situated on the southernmost part of the Istrian peninsula. It is located in the municipality of Medulin and it is situated about 10 km south of Pula. Although this area has been inhabited since ancient times, Premantura in its present form is formed in the late 16th century when families from surroundings of Zadar settled here escaping from the Turks. In the 18th century began development of Premantura which was developed thanks to the rapid industrial development of the town of Pula. Pregrada is a small town located in the westernmost part of Hrvatsko Zagorje, between the river Sutla and Macelj mountains and near the border with Slovenia. Pregrada is located in the beautiful valley of the river Kosteljina below the Kunagora massif, whose highest peak is at 522 meters above sea level. It was first mentioned in the 14th century in the statutes of the Primate's Chapter of Zagreb. Since the middle of the 19th century, Pregrada has taken over the role of the main central settlement of the surrounding area, ie it is the center of the municipality and has become a strong craft center on the once important Zagreb-Vienna traffic route. Jezera is a small tourist place in the southeast part of the island of Murter in Sibenik-Knin County, in Croatia. Administratively it belongs to the municipality Tisno and with almost 1,000 inhabitants, after Tisno, is the second-largest settlement in the municipality. Jezera is 28 km northwest of Šibenik and arrival is very easy because the island Murter is connected to the mainland by a drawbridge. Name Jezera comes from large ponds or lakes that are created during the rainy part of the year. Mud or lake, which was formed in ancient times in wetlands southwest of the town, for the most part, is drained due to malaria at the beginning of the 20th century. Located in the southeast part of the island of Murter in the bay naturally protected from strong winds, Jezera is settled all the way to bay Lovišća, which houses a tourist destination Jezera-Lovišća. Murter is by population the largest and most densely populated island of the Šibenik archipelago. Residents of Jezera are traditionally engaged in viticulture, olive growing, fruit growing, fishing, sailing and extraction of sand and stones. Because of little arable land, since ancient times, the local population turned to the sea, sailing, and fishing. During summer on the city's waterfront early in the morning you can always find and buy fresh fish. Bribir is a small village in Primorje-Gorski Kotar County in Croatia. It is situated on a hill in the interior between Novi Vinodolski and Crikvenica. From Novi Vinodolski is only 5 kilometers away. In the Middle Ages, it was the seat of the famous Croatian noble family Frankopan counts. It's great economic and cultural boom was in the time of prince Bernardin Frankopan, which further reinforced the castle and town walls. Frankopans ruled this area until the mid-19th century when the walls and citadel were destroyed and today remained only remains, including a tower and part of the northern walls. The village is dominated by the Church of St. Peter and Paul, built in the 16th century and later rebuilt in Baroque style, which has a rich treasury of sacred art and statues.
